Welcome!

Right at this moment, a number of journals -- 206, to be precise -- are making their way around the world, collecting thoughts and memories as they go. Some get lost upon the way. Some turn up later, only to begin their journeys again. Still others are actively trading hands right now.

Found a journal?

Tell us about it! Enter the journal number in the field to the left, then hit enter. This will take you to a page where you can post your own comments, using the password in the front of the journal. If the fancy strikes you, upload a picture of the journal in its current surroundings. Don't forget to pass the journal on when you're done!

Preparing your own journal?

Before you release it, please click on "add your own!" to the left, and add your journal to our files. This is where you get a journal number and password that will let your readers tell us they've found it. If you have access to a scanner or digital camera, please have a picture/scan of the journal ready to upload when you do it.

August 27, 2010: New fixes! DreamHost was good enough to silently update PHP at some point recently, which broke most of the Collective Journal Project pages. I should have everything working now, but let me know if you find anything that isn't. Thanks!
