Comments: I am a BAD player! I received this at the beginning of Sept. I started writing, was interrupted by a phone call and it is still sitting in my purse. I have decided that nothing I have to say is important enough to hold on to this any longer so I will be finding a comfy place to leave the journal for the next person. I am only the 2nd to write in it. I will upload pic soon

Probably in London or Sheffield depending on where my work takes me. Either that or I'll leave it at BBC Radio Coventry when I go there on Thursday to do a show. I hope the journal continues to travel. It's been interesting to read what's there already though I admit I've never heard of the musicians or actors mentioned. ;o)

Comments: I found journal #16 in a mouldering shack with a mud floor that I lived in last Winter. I just dug it out again and the mold spores wafting off of it are choking me and burning my nose, perhaps in memory of those cold, damp months of poisoning my lungs in there. Is anybody still interested in this book? It doesn't seem to have gotten very far, but despite the mold it's still in decent condition.

Comments: I decided it was fate that I take the journal. When I got to work today, it was still sitting on the breakroom table, someone else had writtin in it but didn't take it so I figured that it must be meant for me. I intend to leave it on a table at the Acoustic Cafe which is a small coffe shop in town frequented by some very interesting people. My hope is that they will read and write in the journal and also post about it on here. I would really like to see where it goes. I want it to come back to me someday so I can see where it's been. This is an amazing concept to me. Thanks to whomever started this, it's a neat idea.

Found: The Bourgeois Pig, Hollywood, Ca.
Released: Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Comments: This notebook caught my eye sitting on the counter of one of my favourite cafes. I kept staring at it wondering if it was someone's at the bar or if it was the cafe's and who made such a beautiful journal. I asked the people around me about it which triggered a lovely conversation with a sensitive soul next to me. Through it all I realised this journal was meant to come through my hands. You see I am flying in 2 weeks to Amsterdam which will begin a one year journey of a lifetime. I have been dreaming and wishing and hoping to travel for the last six years, never having the circumstances to do it. So about a year and a half ago, I decided to give everything I had in me to make this happen. I lucked out, got a job in Beverly Hills waitressing on Rodeo Dr. and amidst the plastic and diamonds, I worked as hard as I could and saved my money and my manifestations materialized. I will be traveling through Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and Africa for at least a year probably longer. I hope to relocate and find a new country to live in. I am so happy this journal has come in to my hands in this moment of my life, for it comes almost knowing that I was one who could fly it across thousands of miles of open sea to continue on to the furthest corners of the world. I secretely hope that I will find it again in the dank recesses of some smoky cafe with the pieces of a hundred lives swirling inside and my own, right at the very beginning, the past, the present, and the future fused all into now .

Comments: It made me feel good to open this little journal and to be invited to write in it ") Writing in it, I felt as if I was helping to make something for posterity. Our world has been so crazy lately, and this being Thanksgiving eve,Nov.24, 2004, I felt I should share what I am thankful for....it made me feel great! Thanks! A photo of the journal is to the left of me: the cute little sailor-bear. Happy Thanksgiving :)

Comments: I was visiting the library where I had first left this journal and found the journal in the foyer. Two new people had written in it! I wish I had stopped to read the entries, as it isn't likely that I'd see it again, indeed to have a chance to read any subsequent entries after I released it. Sigh! Maybe it will turn up at the library again sometime.

Comments: I have been doing this project for a while. I've left 20+ journals places. I don't really care who gets them or what they write. I just want every person who participates to get something out of it. It's a beautiful thing. Take advantage of it! Use it as a release of stress, use is an art project, use it to brighten somebody's day. I hope after participating, other people start leaving journals places. I just want something good out of this, even if it's just the good feeling I get leaving them. It's a wonderful project, USE IT!

Found: Mulholland Dr. Overlook
Released: Not sure yet.
Comments: I was on a twilight bikeride up Coldwater Canyon, happened upon Mulholland Drive, and randomly found the San Fernando Valley overlook - beautiful! I left, but then (coincidentally) decided to go back and have another look - I spied the journal out of the corner of my eye and thought it belonged to a couple of the other sightseers. When I picked it up, I was pleasantly surprised - what a treasure! I plan to write an entry, but probably not for a couple of days. Not sure where I'll leave it...but rest assured it will be found again!

Released: Viewing Area on Mulholland Drive
Comments: On 08.25.02 I am taking this journal to a place on Mulholland Drive where you can look over the San Fernando Valley. I am sure that the weather will not get it wet again, as it seems sunny today. I will write in it and leave it on a parkbench. I am looking forward to seeing what happens!
